I’m proud to say I come from a family of immigrants who came to this country chasing opportunitities.

My dad immigrated from Egypt and my mom from Armenia. Back in Egypt, my dad was a photographer for the president – a very cool fact he did not want to share with his peers.

He left the country during a time of political instability under President Anwar Sadat, seeking safety and a future that allowed him to have a family while creating without fear.

Like many immigrant parents, he initially hoped I’d choose a more traditional path. But creativity was always woven into my life, and eventually I found myself following in his footsteps, drawn to visual storytelling as a way to connect and communicate.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and have been working in the creative field for almost two decades. I started as a photographer, ran a video production business, worked full-time as a designer, and eventually grew into art direction. That winding path shaped how I work today–well-rounded, deeply collaborative, and comfortable thinking across photography, design, video, web, animation, and most things creative.

For the past 7 years, my work has lived primarily in healthcare—leading visual storytelling at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—while my broader professional experience spans studio environments, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, children’s education and youth development, hospitality, and personal creative work within fashion and beauty.

At the core of it all, I really love creating work that feels authentic and intentional.
