Research Stock Photography Library
This research image library was developed to give CHLA a more cinematic, ownable way to represent scientific discovery.
The visual direction moved away from generic lab photography and leaned into atmosphere, focus, and process. Real research environments were photographed with layered foregrounds, reflections, dramatic lighting, and close-up scientific details to create a sense of depth and momentum.
The result is a flexible photography library that makes research feel credible and human — supporting editorial stories, fundraising, campaign work, web content, and broader brand storytelling around CHLA’s impact.
